PRESQUE ISLE – Donna Marie Burns, 82, died peacefully on Oct. 20, 2014, at Madigan Estates in Houlton. She was born May 22, 1932, in Presque Isle, she was the daughter of Edward J. Burns and Tencie Mae (Pelkey) Buswell.
She graduated from Presque Isle High School in the class of 1949. She worked for the Northern National Bank and several local businesses in Presque Isle, retiring in 1990. Donna was a communicant of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Parish of the Precious Blood in Presque Isle.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Leslie “Tess” Buswell of Houlton; a niece, Sara (Buswell) Eaton and her husband, Erick and their two daughters, Alexa Rae and Rachel Mae all of Topsham; a niece, Laura (Buswell) Murray and her husband, Jay; sons, Jonathan McGuire and Jason Murray; and daughters, Felicia, Rachel, and Melanie Murray of Keller, TX.
Donna was predeceased by her parents and brother, A. Andrew (Andy) Buswell.
