What a terrible day (Sunday) has been. The wind is blowing snow everywhere on Golden Ridge. On Oct. 29, the last Wednesday of the month, the Happy Losers held the weekly meeting at the Congregational Church vestry in Island Falls.
Jackie Pratt, the leader, opened the meeting with the usual pledge and roll call. Eight members weighed-in and eight attended the meeting. Jackie was the loser of the week and Joan Sides was runner-up. Great job ladies!
The secretary and treasurer gave reports for the week. The leader led the program for the week. She gave an oral quiz with interesting answers.
