ISLAND FALLS – Robert L. Mitchell, 64, Island Falls, died Oct. 25, 2014, in Bangor. He was born June 27, 1950, in Island Falls, the son of Raymond and Thelma (Boutilier) Mitchell.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. Robert loved his children and grandchildren dearly.
Besides his parents of Island Falls, he is survived by three children, Chris Mitchell of Island Falls, Travis Mitchell of Beaumont, Texas and Keely Mitchell of Island Falls; four grandchildren, Chase, Devyn, Jordyn and Christopher; one brother, Eddie Mitchell of Island Falls and one sister, Ilene MacArthur of Las Vegas, Nevada; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend, Virginia Tucker and family.
Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Friday, October 31 at Bowers Funeral Home with the Rev. Peter Main officiating. Interment was private. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Island Falls.
