On Nov. 12, the weight group called The Happy Losers held its weekly meeting at the Congregational Church vestry in Island Falls.
The leader, Jackie Pratt, opened the meeting with pledge and roll call. Ten members weighed in and eight attended the meeting.
Joan Sides was the loser of the week and Jackie Pratt and Dotty Rand were runners-up. Great job ladies! The secretary and treasurer gave reports for the week. No program for the week, but meeting was adjourned by Riva’s joke.
