EAST HODGDON – Pearl I. (Grass) London, 77, died Nov. 23, 2014, at a local hospital. She was born June 20, 1937, at Monticello, the daughter of John A. Grass, Sr. and Lona (DeLong) Grass.
Pearl was a graduate of Ricker Classical Institute and attended MCI in Pittsfield. She met and married Robert S. London on Dec. 8, 1955. They worked side by side on the family farm for 59 years. Pearl loved animals, domesticated or not.
Pearl is survived by her son, Dennis London and his wife, Ammie of Hodgdon; four grandchildren, Daniel London and his wife, Nicole, of Hodgdon, Matthew London and his wife, Sara, of Houlton, Kylee Scott and her husband, Lael, of Hodgdon, and James Toby of Hodgdon; four great-grandchildren, Jacob London, Taylor London, Alice London, and Harlee Scott; three brothers, Norman Grass and his wife, Paula, of Littleton, John Grass, Jr. of Monticello, Robert Grass and his wife, Bobbi, of CA; her sister, Jo-Anne Dingman and her husband, Roy, of PA; two sisters-in-law, Kay Grass of Littleton, Dorothy Bowling and her husband, Dick, of GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 59 years, Robert S. London; her brother, Luther Grass; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Grass, Frances Grass, and Marion Sutherland and her husband, Gordon.
