On Sunday, Dec. 7, award-winning author Cathie Pelletier will be at The Cup Cafe reading from her latest book, “The Secret World of Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus.” 6 p.m. begins a Social Hour during which refreshments such as focaccia with tapenade, assorted desserts and beverages may be purchased at the cafe.

At 7 p.m., Pelletier begins her reading with a discussion and question and answer session following. She was born and raised in Allagash, a rural town in Aroostook County, and is the author of 10 novels, eight of which are under her own name, beginning with “The Funeral Makers,” published in 1986.
“The Secret World of Mr. & Mrs. Santa Claus” is a new book by K.C. McKinnon, which is a pseudonym for Pelletier.
The Cup Cafe is located at 61 Military St.
