LAFAYETTE, IN – Joanne G. (Good) Webb, 75, of Lafayette, passed away peacefully, and surrounded by her family, at home on Sunday, November 23, 2014. Born August 25, 1939 in Boston, Massachusetts, and raised in Monticello, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Florence (Clark) Good. Joanne was a graduate of the University of Maine at Orono.
Her marriage was to Daniel Webb on November 28, 1969 in Warrensburg, MO and he survives. Joanne was a self-employed owner and Director of Shaklee Health and Wellness Products. She enjoyed traveling, loved her family, loved people and she loved nutrition and health. She had a passion for the Lord and she was a member of Purdue Women’s Club, Landmark Forum, Breakfast Optimists, Association of Women’s Business Owners, Toastmasters and Bible Study Fellowship.
Surviving with her husband are their three children, Elizabeth Webb Johnson (husband, Nathan) of Colorado Springs, CO, John Webb of Lafayette, and Clark Webb (wife, Sarah) of Newburyport, Massachusetts; her brother, Tom Good (wife, Rachel); her sister, Nancy Cayford (husband, Phil); and several nieces and nephews. She was expecting her first two grandchildren in February and March of 2015.
Visitation was held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Reformed Presbyterian Church, 1723 S. 9th St., Lafayette, with the service at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Long officiating. Burial followed at Meadowview Cemetery. In lieu of usual remembrances, donations to the family or Reformed Presbyterian Church are suggested. Hippensteel Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
