HOULTON – Ruth A. McGillicuddy, 96, died December 6, 2014, at a local healthcare facility. She was born Nov. 4, 1918, at Danforth, the daughter of Frank and Clara (McCluskey) McAtee.
Ruth was a communicant of Saint Mary of the Visitation Church and a member of the Houlton Council of Catholic Women. She was a beautician and ran her own shop for many years.
Ruth is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John McGillicuddy, and her three sisters, Rita Benn, Isabelle Fitzpatrick and Virginia Smith.
Friends may call at Saint Mary of the Visitation Church from 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Raymond, celebrant.
