HOULTON, Maine — The holidays are a time when many former athletes return to their alma maters to play basketball for a good cause. A number of alumni games are scheduled for southern Aroostook County in the coming weeks.
The 2014 Houlton vs. Hodgdon alumni games will be played Saturday, Dec. 27 at Houlton High School. The event is a fundraiser for the Houlton-Hodgdon Dollars for Scholars program.
The women take the court at 5:30 p.m. playing a full game. The men’s game immediately follows. The cost is $3 for students and $5 for adults.
Any alumni from Houlton or Hodgdon high schools are welcome to play. All ages/decades of graduates are welcome and encouraged to participate.
