My message today is one of Christmas, joy, and the Holy Spirit. May your holiday be filled with love, brotherhood and happiness. It is certainly looking like Christmas here with door hangings, artwork, poinsettias, wreaths, Christmas trees, bows, bulbs, and what have you. Everything adds to Christmas.
I missed the Christmas party given to all the renters on Friday. It started with a Yankee swap with those wanting to enter. I was told the number was over 20 – always fun, I think. Brian served his famous seafood chowder, and I was the last to partake of that—delicious and brimming with shrimp, haddock, lobster, oysters, and other fish. Everyone who attended said it was very nice with gift cards to take home and thank you very much.
Thank you to Barbara Cloney Conlogue who sends me the Calais Advertisers every week. The hometown paper is always fun to read and I thank my friend Barbara for thinking of me. Happy holidays, Barb, to you and family. There is lots of snow here for those out-of-staters. Sometimes they want to know what the weather is before it is advertised.
Our newest tenant on the third floor is Gary Kimball and Anthony Rogers. I haven’t met them yet but I hope their stay is a happy one. Happy holiday everyone. May your Christmas be filled with love, joy and hope. Without hope, we would be hopeless.
Take good care of yourself in this season and the next and don’t take chances, be safe. Until the next time, God bless.
