LINNEUS – Donna Jeanne Scott, 44, loving wife of Gary Scott, passed away at home on January 4, 2015, surrounded by close family and friends. She was born in Oceanside, California on September 15, 1970.
She grew up in Monticello, attending Wellington school and Houlton High School before finishing three years of college. She had many accomplishments to her credit but she considered her son Levi her greatest. She loved to garden as well as any other indoor/outdoor activities as long as it was with her family and friends. She didn’t ask for a lot in life and took great joy in giving to her family and friends. Mere words on paper cannot convey to others the truly wonderful person she was.
Donna is survived by her husband, Gary Scott; her son, Levi, both of Linneus; her mother, Jeane Boyce of Monticello; her three brothers, AJ Boyce and his wife, Tracy, of Bridgewater, Steve Boyce and his wife, Mary, of Monticello, Joey Boyce and his wife, Misty, of Houlton; mother-in-law, Linda Scott; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Doris Scott, Pam and Bobby Cates, Danny and Tammey Scott, David Scott and Jon Scott; several nieces and nephews, all of Linneus; plus many close friends of the family. They know who they are without saying. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Donald D. Scott; brother-in-law, Donald W. Scott; and a very close friend, Jim Doane.
