PATTEN – Kathleen “Puddy” McMannus, 92, died January 10, 2015, in Houlton. She was born Sept. 16, 1922, in Mt. Chase, the daughter of William and Alice (Lane) McMannus.
Puddy loved ball games and a good fishing hole. She often was found giving a shout from the bleachers or out fishing with her twin sister “Tat”. She had an appreciation for hard work.
She is survived by her daughter, Paulette McMannus of Sherman; three grandchildren, Angela, Kelly and Wade; four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Chloe, Wesley and Amina; two sisters, her twin, Katherine “Tat” Springer of Houlton, and Lucille and Paul Popple of Rhode Island; several nieces and nephews, especially Roberta Palmer, and several cousins.
Friends may call 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, January 17 at the Stetson Memorial United Methodist Church, Patten where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Ruth Foss officiating.
