The Purple Hat ladies met at the Smyrna Merrill Historical Society at Smyrna on Tuesday, Jan 11. All the tables were decorated in colors of blue and white. Wannetta Levesque gave the blessing before the meal. The menu was turkey with all the fixings, rescheduled party.
John Wayne Hall entertained with his guitar and he was well received. It was good music with some dancing. Everybody gave their Purple Heart names and Ursula Levesque and Mildred Gagnon were given purse charms for January.
Cindy Gray announced birthdays for December and January. A discussion was held on the location of the February meeting with no conclusion. Frosty the Snowman Right and Left game was played. Attending were Jackie Colella from Cary; Houlton, Mildred Gagnon and Wannetta Levesque and Betty Wyman; from Dyer Brook, Marie Gillotti and Sandy Wyman; Oakfield, Bernice Campbell, Elaine Barrett, Alma Clark, Donna Furrow, Delores Locke, Y. Levesque, and Arlene Friel, and from Smyrna, Cindy Gray, Ramona White and Charlotte Marley.
