Littleton – Dorothy “Dot” M. Scott, 80, passed away February 4, 2015, at a local hospital. She was born June 6, 1934, in Oakfield, the daughter of Fred and Olga (Clark) Moore.
Dot grew up in Oakfield and was married to Stephen Scott for many years until his passing. She enjoyed knitting, fishing, hunting, and was an “avid collector” of everything. She will be remembered as a fun and loving lady who was a great storyteller.
Dot is survived by three children Mike Henry and his wife Rose of Poland Springs, Brenda Benson of New Mexico, Gloria Fredericks and her husband Robert of Maxwell, NB, Canada; three sisters Bessie Pulk and her husband Jessie of CT, Evelyn Brewer of Houlton, Joanne Scott of Cary Plantation; a brother Donald Moore and his wife Barbara of CT; five grandchildren, sixteen great- grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, and husband, she was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Friends called 1 p.m. Monday, February 9, at Dunn Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. with Rev. Richard McLaughlin officiating.
