The Greater Houlton Christian Academy (GHCA) annual Valentine’s Day supper was deemed a success by organizers.
GHCA held its annual Valentine’s Day spaghetti supper on Feb. 7, raising over $4,400. Tony Bowers, Peter Holmes, Barrett Potter and Wayne Watson were the evening’s auctioneers and had a great time “egging” on bidders during the dessert auction.
“This event is always a lot of fun and we had another full house,” said John Bishop, head of school. “We  are grateful to the community for the great support.”
Funds from the supper are used to support GHCA’s budget.
“The annual fund meets the gap between our budgeted expenses and what is paid in tuition,” said Bishop. “Each year staff, parents and community members contribute their time and support to fundraisers like this one, with a goal to help make tuition to GHCA as affordable as possible for as many families as possible.”
