Aroostook County Action Program, Inc. (ACAP) has announced Colette Thompson has joined ACAP as Let’s Go! Aroostook program coordinator. Let’s Go! Aroostook is part of Healthy Aroostook, a program of ACAP and part of the Healthy Maine Partnership.
Thompson is a Maine native and is a registered dietitian.
“We are excited to have Colette join us,” said Carol Bell, project director, Healthy Aroostook. “Colette has spent time advocating for nutrition policy and practices at the local, state and national level. Let’s Go! Aroostook works closely with its 35 school, after school, child care programs and health care partners to implement policies for healthy eating and active living. As we work to increase our number of partners, Colette’s previous work is a great fit and we’re grateful to have her as part of the team.”
