FS-McGills-dcx-pt-8GETTING READY — McGill’s Community Band, under the direction of Kevin Mania, is gearing up for another busy season of concerts. The band is always looking for new members to join.

If you have a couple of years of instrument skills under your belt, why not consider joining the band? It is a wonderful opportunity to work with some great community-minded individuals and enjoy what the summer offers us all.
Band rehearsals begin March 5 in the Houlton High School band room and continue each Thursday night until the first concert June 18 in Monument Park.  Kevin Mania is excited to be conducting his second great season of Thursday night concerts in the park and has been looking at some new music for all to enjoy.
It takes a great group of people to make McGill’s Community Band what it is today.  So dust off that instrument and brush up on your skills. You will love your summer experience with McGill’s Community Band.
