HOULTON – Keith Allen Suitter, 61, of Houlton passed away at his home March 1, 2015. He was born June 17, 1953, in Houlton, the son of Edwin and Margaret “Dolly” (Chambers) Suitter.
He grew up in Houlton, graduating from Houlton High School, class of 1971. He was the owner of Keith’s Painting where he painted homes for over 20 years. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He was a proud member of the Chester L. Briggs American Legion Post #47.
He is survived by his children, Jonathon Magnusson and his wife, Erica, of Florida, Kristin Moore and her husband, Jesse, of Illinois and Michelle Kochersperger and her husband, Caleb, of Indiana; his nine grandchildren, whom he adored, Alyssa, Aiden, Lee, Chelsea, Shaelee, Shayne, Rowan, Avery and Cayne; his siblings, Linda Thorne of Clinton, Donna and her husband, Charles McGillicuddy, of Houlton, Emily and her husband, Robert Reece, of Houlton, Jerry and his wife, Elizabeth Suitter, of No. Carolina and Tim Suitter and Lisa Fogarty of Houlton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents.
A memorial was held Sat., Mar. 7, at the Chester L. Briggs American Legion Post #47, Bangor St., from 12 noon until 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Chester L. Briggs Post #47, Bangor St., Houlton, Maine 04730. Arrangements by Bowers Funeral Home, Houlton.
