On a beautiful spring morning, 15 TOPS and KOPS members of 0233 Houlton were in attendance for their weekly meeting at the Aldergate Building in Houlton. We all were glad to have Brenda Lacostic return after a short absence. Leader Betty Wyman opened the meeting with the TOPS pledge and roll call. Secretary and weight recorder reports were read. Margaret Hagerman won the Skinny Dish and “Coach” won the 50/50 raffle.
Loser of the week was Marsha Reed and runner-up was Mildred Gagnon. Congratulations! A new contest will begin in two weeks.
Denise Clark reported on the yearly resumé. A letter from Rick Danforth, Maine State coordinator was read and lots of info about the upcoming SRD in Bangor at the Cross Center in May were discussed.
The following Division Winners were announced for 2014: Betty Wyman and Denise Clark. Also awarded for their losses in 2014 were: Joyce Estey, Margaret Hagerman, Brenda Lacostic, Marsha Reed and Barbara Whited. Charlotte Marley was recognized for maintaining KOPS status for 2014. All of these winners were presented with charms and ribbons for their successes in TOPS.
