    PT Nadine DayDANFORTH – Nadine W. Day, 98, wife of the late Frank A. Day, passed away March 30, 2015, at a Lincoln healthcare facility. She was born March 12, 1917, in North Bancroft, the daughter of  Fritz A. and Gladys A. (Campbell)  White.
    She was a cook at East Grand School for a number of years. She was a member of the Danforth Baptist Church and the Danforth Garden Club. She was also a member of the Audubon Society.
    She is survived by a son, Lester F. Day of Danforth; a daughter, Gail D. Crawford and her husband, Bruce of Lehighton, Pa; two sisters, Irma C. White and Norma Cottle, both of Mattawamkeag; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by siblings, Paul White, Avis Hewey, Gerald White, Donald White and Evelyn McCormack.
    Friends called from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Clay Funeral Home-Bartlett Chapel, 24 Houlton Road, Danforth. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Danforth Baptist Church with the Rev. Peter Grenier officiating. Interment will be in Danforth Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Patsy Day Scholarship, 227 Baker Ridge Road, Danforth, ME 04424.
