ORIENT, Maine — Elections for municipal selectman and school board seats in Orient will be held Tuesday, April 28 from 3-7 p.m. followed by the annual town meeting on Wednesday, April 29 at 6 p.m.
Seeking a three-year seat on the board of selectmen are Pam Bourgeois, Henry Hartley and Mary Foley. Looking to fill a three-year seat on town’s school board are Donna Foley and Joan Faulkner, while Barbara London is seeking a one-year term.
The proposed budget is $259,735, which is down $21,680 (8.3 percent) from last year.
