Greetings, everyone, and happy Flag Day, June 14.
Some facts you may not have known: the longest day appears in June, either the 21st or 22nd; June also features Paul Bunyan Day, National Rose Month, African-American Month and Iced Tea Month. The flower is rose and the Zodiac sign is Gemini or Cancer.
Everything seems to be proper at Ricker Plaza. We have a new back door and several of the ladies are working on our outdoor flowerbed. It is beginning to look presentable.
Several of the ladies contributed to Kim’s plea for the family who lost their home and belongings in a fire recently.
My Bible quote is: “This is how it is with the Kingdom of God: It is as if a man were to scatter seeds on the land. Of its own accord the land leads first, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. And when the grain is ripe, he wields the sickle at once, for the harvest has come.” Matthew 4:26, 28-29.
Margaret Drew had a birthday. Happy birthday to a very delightful lady.
Have a good week, everyone, and be kind.
