There is nothing like sunshine and a gentle breeze to create fabulous golf weather … that is exactly what we had this past weekend!
Don’t forget to come out for our annual Father’s Day Tourney this Sunday! This is a Best Ball with each child who golfs with you. The cost is $5 per child … no cost for Dads! What a great way to spend quality with your kids or Dad! This nine-hole tourney starts anytime on Sunday, June 21.
Our Sunday Pairs and Spares golfers met for a four-person scramble. The first three teams all had a score of 35. Coming in first with a birdie on No. 2 were Jenness and Goldie Gushee and Ralph and Valerie Powers. Second place was claimed by Jon and Betty Smallwood and Ola and Di Tucker with a birdie on eighth hole. Brandon Savage, John Meader and Greg Gayne got a birdie No. 4.
Pairs and Spares golfers meet on Sundays at 2:30 p.m. Join them for a fun filled afternoon. Entry fee is $2.50.
Don’t forget Ladies Day Golf and Clinic each Tuesday. This free clinic will start at 9 a.m. and be followed by a varied golf scrambles. Next week will be putting/chipping. The clinic is a rain or shine event. Hope to see you!
Junior Golf starts on Tuesday, June 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. The cost is only $45 for eight weeks. This is for ages 6-18. Applications are available at the Pro Shop.
