The Houlton Parks and Recreation Department will be offering an Adult Running 101 program starting on Wednesday, July 8 at 5:30 p.m. at the Gentle Memorial Building.
This program will run for four weeks and must have a minimum of eight participants. Cost of the four-week program is $10 for Houlton residents and $15 for non-Houlton residents. Registrations are being accepted until July 6. To register, call 532-1310.
The goal of this program is to introduce adults the safe and proper way of running. This program will consist of warm ups, a group run and a cool down. Chris Rines will be the instructor. Participants are asked to have running shoes, comfortable clothes and a water bottle.
