“Be Prepared.”
Pet owners, the Houlton Police Department would like you to prepare for the fireworks taking place on July 3 in Market Square and on July 4 at Community Park.
Animals are frightened by the loud noises and bright lights. Each year we are made aware of animals running off during these events, as animals become traumatized.
Please help us to help you, and if you need the police, call the HPD at 532-2287, the Maine State Police at 532-5400 or the Aroostook County Sheriff’s Office at 532-7317.
