Houlton FAPCO promotes Schools

    HOULTON – Christopher Anderson, president of the F.A. Peabody Company (FAPCO) has announced that Amanda Schools has been promoted to the position of personal lines customer service agent in their Houlton office.

    Schools started employment with FAPCO in August 2009 as a personal lines processor. Since that time she has successfully taken on responsibilities in several areas for the company until assuming this new position. In 2014, she earned her state of Maine Property and Casualty insurance license. Schools is a member of the Insurance Association of Greater Houlton, having served as both vice president and secretary.
    Schools is a 2004 graduate of Houlton High School. She continued her education after high school, attaining her associate’s degree in medical transcription and health care secretarial studies from Eastern Maine Community College in 2006.
    Anderson said, “Amanda’s good nature, empathy and work ethic has proven to me that she will serve our customers with the utmost in care.”
    Schools resides in Monticello with her husband, Jordan.
