CYPRESS, TX – Mary Joy Dunphy Roberts, age 86, passed away following a short illness on February 5, 2015, in Cypress, TX. Mary was born on February 5, 1929, in Island Falls, Maine, to parents Eursal & Eva (Lee) Dunphy.
Mary Roberts is survived by her sons, Mark Roberts and Randolph Roberts; daughters, Vicki Barroso and Karen Flores; sons-in-law, Edgar Barroso and Alfred D. Flores, Sr.; grandchildren, Heather Thomas and Tiffany and Will Price, Randy Barroso, Christopher Roberts, Alfred Jr. and April Flores; great-grandchildren, Victoria Barroso, Ty Thomas, Braden and Myles Price and Joshua Roberts, Braeden and Ryder Thibodeaux, Lahna Flores; brothers, Leon Dunphy, Robert Dunphy; sisters, Jane Harrigan and Phyllis Drew (recently deceased); numerous nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law.
She is preceded in death by husband, Victor Roberts; son, Matthew Roberts; parents, Eursal and Eva (Lee) Dunphy; brother, David Dunphy; and sister, Sharon Dubois; and daughter-in-law, Patricia Roberts.
A memorial service is scheduled for Mary Roberts on August 22, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Mark Roberts’ lake house located at the end of Brooks Rd. at the head of Mattawamkeag Lake, Island Falls, Maine 04747.
