ISLAND FALLS, Maine — A 13-year-old Island Falls boy was charged with multiple crimes Monday after he allegedly burglarized a local market the day before.
The boy, whose name was not released because of his age, was charged with burglary and theft following an investigation into a burglary at Bishop’s Market on Sunday, Lt. Brian Harris of the Maine State Police said in a news release.
Trooper Eric Sucy developed leads on a suspect, which ultimately led him to the juvenile, who is accused of stealing merchandise that included cigarettes and several knives, according to Harris.
All stolen merchandise was recovered.
