Nellie Katherine Gagnon, 84, of Piedmont, Alabama, passed away Friday, August 14, 2015, at Piedmont Health Care Center.
Mrs. Gagnon was a resident of Piedmont for many years, and loved music and singing.
She is survived by one daughter, Angel Darlene Anderson (Jerry) of Piedmont, SC; one son, Donald Wilbert Gagnon, Jr. of Piedmont, AL; three grandchildren; J.R. Lara, Sonia Jordan (Sean), and Chet Anderson (Carrie); and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Donald Wilbert Gagnon.
Services for Mrs. Gagnon will be Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Borden Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
