The TOPS (take Off Pounds Sensibly) Chapter 0233 of Houlton met at the Aldergate building on Kelleran Street for their August meeting.
There were 9 TOPS and 2 KOPS (Keep Off Pounds Sensibly) members present.
There was a tie between C. J. and Barbara Whited for the person who lost the most weight. The runner up was Bessie Wyman.
Group president, Brenda Lacostic, discussed the health benefits of the avocado.
Plans were put into place for the upcoming TOPS workshop, which will be held on Sept. 12 in Houlton.
