HOULTON, Maine — The RSU 29/70 Houlton Hodgdon Adult Education will begin the school year with a full schedule of personal and community enrichment classes in September. Kermit McGary will again be teaching the Digital Camera and Photography class at Houlton High School beginning on Sept. 10, 2015 at 6 p.m.
The Southern Aroostook Cultural Arts Project (SACAP) is holding an art class at the Higher Ed Center beginning Sept. 11 at 10 a.m. Also on Sept. 11, the Stained Glass Stepping Stones class with Barb Murray begins another season of classes at 1 p.m. The ever-popular quilting class with Sharon McFadden starts on Monday , Sept. 14, at 6 p.m. at the Houlton High School.
Beginning Computer students will get a chance to explore their computer and Google with instructor Gerald Morey at the Higher Ed Center at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 22. The Woodworking Projects class begins at 5 p.m. at the Houlton High School shop on Sept. 24. And for those who need Hunter Safety, CPR, or First Aid, these classes are also being offered in September.
