The Oakfield Senior Citizens gathered at The Maine Slice in Island Falls for their August 19 meeting.
Everyone enjoyed their favorite food from the menu including, clams, haddock, roast beef, lobster, pizza, ham, chicken, pork and many more. Good food and good service.
“Happy Birthday” was sung to Earl Doughty.
Attending were: Geneva Bell, Wannetta Townsend, Sharon Anderson, Iona Nadeau, Ursula Levesque, Bob and Delores Locke, George Barrow, Verna Boone, Marie Gillotti, David Burpee, Naci Fowler, Donna Furrow, Mildred Gagnon, Sandra Holmes, Juanita Wiggins, Kathleen Boutilier, Thelma Flowers, Arlene Friel, Earl and Lottie Doughty, Bill Dill, Jeanne Clements, Bernice Campbell and Don and Charlotte Marley.
The next meeting will be on September 2 at Smoki-Haulers Snow Club in Oakfield. The potluck lunch is at 11:30 but all are welcome to come early and visit.
