HOULTON, Maine — The fifth annual River Run Harvest Festival 5K race Saturday drew its largest field to date with 31 runners and walkers participating. This year’s course was modified from previous years to create a more cross-country type race, featuring both paved and dirt roads as well as off-road conditions.
Proceeds from the race benefited the Greater Houlton Christian Academy’s cross-country program.
Caleb Streinz was the top race finisher, completing the 3.1 mile course in 19 minutes, 25 seconds. Just four seconds behind him was Nick Lunn with a time of 19:29. Hannah Streinz was the first female finisher with a time of 23:35.
A children’s fun run was also held prior to the 5K race.

There was one walker for the race, Dave Harbison, who finished in 43:28.
