VASSALBORO, Maine — The Houlton golf team placed fourth out of 12 squads in the Class C State Championship Saturday at Natanis Golf Course.
Houlton’s Ryan Dee tied with St. Dominics’ Brandon Donovan for low score in the Class C competition with a 77.
Mattanawcook Academy won the Class C title with a low gross score of 323 (35-over par), followed by St. Doms, 329; Winthrop, 331 and Houlton, 350. Hodgdon placed 11th in the event with a gross score of 439.
Individual scores for Houlton were: Dee, 77; Drew Marino, 86; Parker Brewer, 89; Wyatt Harvey, 98; and Billy Phillips, 100.
Individual scores for Hodgdon were: Ben Tuttle, 79; Lexi Emerson, 112; Justin Wilson, 128; Andrew Tuttle, 120; and Dana Brown, 140.
