Sunday, Oct. 11

9:06 a.m. — Det. Nason responded to Third Street to do a welfare check.

7:24 p.m. — Officer Quint responded to High Street to investigate a report of criminal mischief.

9:50 p.m. — Sgt. Wampler responded to Military Street to summons a 20-year-old Oakfield male for terrorizing.

10:06 p.m. — Officer Quint responded to Green Street to investigate a report of a burglary.

Monday, Oct. 12

10:22 a.m. — Officer York responded to North Street to check out an active burglary alarm.

10:22 a.m. — Officer Bickford responded to McSheffery Road for an animal complaint.

11:17 a.m. — Officer York responded to North Street to investigate a report of harassment.

12:13 p.m. — Officer York responded to High Street to check out a 911 hang-up call.

12:40 p.m. — Officer Bickford responded to Abbie Lane to check out suspicious activity.

4:38 p.m. — Officer York responded to Reservoir Hill to assist a citizen.

4:52 p.m. — Officer Bickford responded to Franklin Avenue for an animal complaint.

5:31 p.m. — Officer York responded to Pleasant Street to check out a report of skateboarding in the street.

Parents, with Halloween right around the corner, please become familiar with these safety tips for trick-or-treating, courtesy of AAA.

Trick-or-treat with friends or grown-ups; never go alone.

Don’t eat any treats until they are checked for tampering.

Always cross the street at a corner and look left, right, and left again.

Obey traffic signals and signs while crossing streets.

If there no sidewalks, walk on the left-hand side of the road facing traffic.

Never walk out from between parked cars.

Lift your mask while walking from house to house.

Don’t cut across yards and driveways.

Only visit homes with lights on.

Try to carry a flashlight and wear something reflective.

If traveling in a car, please remember to buckle up.

Adults and others celebrating should not be driving if they have been drinking. Always designate a sober driver before heading out.

Young children should always be accompanied by an adult.

Remind children to pay attention to their surroundings .

Remind children to walk, not run.
