LITTLETON — Theodore “Buddy” Shaw, 74, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor. He was born June 7, 1941 at the Madigan Hospital in Houlton, the son of Theodore and Avis (Tapley) Shaw.
Buddy graduated from Houlton High School, Class of 1960. He worked in construction for Henry Briggs and even for a short time at Pratt and Whitney in CT. Buddy also worked in maintenance at the local hospitals and McDonalds stores. He became a master Electrician in the 1980’s and worked for local companies doing both industrial and commercial electrical work. He retired about 10 years ago. Buddy lived in Littleton for the last 25 years with his wife, Lorraine, who will miss him greatly, as will his three children and six grandchildren.
Buddy leaves behind his wife, Lorraine; his son, Tim Shaw and his partner, Julie, his daughters, Emily and Molly, his son, Rob Shaw and his wife, Andrea, their children, Patrick, Megan, Amanda and David presently moving from Lexington, KY to Savannah, GA, his daughter, Kimberly York and her husband, Brian of Martinsburg, WV. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Terry Shaw.
Friends called the Dunn Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Robertson officiating. Interment was held at the Littleton Cemetery.
