ISLAND FALLS, Maine — The Birch Point Women’s Bowling League standings as of Nov. 3 are: 1, Twisted Sisters, 24-8; 2 (tie), Incredibowls and Candlepin Mamas, 18-14; 4,, Ball Busters, 13-19; 4, Golden Girls, 12-20; and 6, W.W.B., 11-21.
The top six averages were: 1, Chris Lash, 100.8; 2, Dede Edkins, 92.4; 3. Sherry Porter, 918; 4. Donna Crandall, 91.5; 5. Patti Hartin, 90.2; and 6. Beth Edkins, 89.8.
The weekly high single went to Erin McGuan with a 124 while the weekly high threes went to Chris Lash with a 317. The year-to-date high single is McGuan’s 124 and the year-to-date high threes is Lash’s 317.
Men’s Bowling
ISLAND FALLS, Maine — The standings for the Birch Point Men’s Bowling League as of Sunday, Nov. 8, are as follows: 1, Strike Force, 24-0; 2, Gutterballs, 16-8; 3. Intimidators, 14-10; 4, Rough Riders, 12-12; 5. Sandbaggers, 6-18.
The high single and series of the week went to Joe Bishop with a 134 and 370, respectively. The team high single and series went to Strike Force with a 529 and 1,529.
The five averages for the season are: Joe Bishop, 112.8; Kerry Swallow, 107.6; John Duffy, 103.5; Jerry Violette, 101.8; and Mike Detour, 100.2.
