HOULTON — The Houlton Police Department responded to the following incidents from Nov. 8-14.
Sunday, Nov. 8
8:53 a.m. – Capt. Pelletier responded to White Settlement Road to remove a hazard from the road.
2:40 p.m. – Det. Nason responded to North Street to investigate a report of theft.
5:19 p.m. – Sgt. Wampler responded to Pleasant Street for a wellbeing check.
6:57 p.m. – Officer Quint responded to Bangor Street to check out an active burglary alarm.
8:39 p.m. – Officer Smith responded to Park Street where he arrested a 21-year-old Houlton man, Leonard Devoe, for failure to appear in court.
9:35 p.m. – Officer Smith responded to First Street for a domestic disturbance. Sgt. Wampler and Officer Quint assisted.
Monday, Nov. 9
8:21 a.m. – Officer Boutilier responded to North Street. – checking out a 911 hang-up call.
8:45 a.m. – Officer White responded to North Street to investigate a motor vehicle complaint.
10:11 a.m. – Officer White responded to Bangor Street to assist a citizen with a found wallet. The owner of the wallet was located.
12:12 p.m. – Officer Boutilier responded to Park Street to investigate a report of suspicious activity.
12:52 p.m. – Officer Boutilier responded to Maliseet Drive for a civil dispute.
5:21 p.m. – Cpl. Duff responded to Pleasant Street to investigate suspicious activity.
7:11 p.m. – Officer McGuire responded to Pleasant Street to do a wellbeing check.
Tuesday, Nov. 10
7:55 a.m. – Officer Boutilier responded to Market Square to investigate a complaint.
9:02 a.m. – Officer White responded to Kelleran Street to investigate a burglary.
3:38 p.m. – Officer Boutilier responded to Leonard Street to investigate a report of motor vehicle accident.
5:01 p.m. – Officer Boutilier responded to Court Street to investigate an assault complaint.
5:11 p.m. – Officer White responded to Pine Drive to investigate a missing person report.
6:25 p.m. – Sgt. Wampler and Cpl Duff responded to Elm Street to investigate a disturbance.
Wednesday, Nov. 11
4:06 p.m. – Sgt. Wampler responded to North Street to assist a citizen.
6:23 p.m. – Officer Smith responded to Market Square where a 48-year-old Houlton woman, Donna Crandall, was arrested for Violation of Protective Order.
Thursday, Nov. 12
1:56 p.m. – ACO Tingley responded to North Street for an animal complaint.
4:45 p.m. – Sgt Wampler and Officer York responded to Highland Avenue to investigate report of suspicious activity.
8:43 p.m. – Officer Quint and Officer Smith responded to Ludlow Road to investigate a motor vehicle accident.
Friday, Nov. 13
8:58 a.m. – Officer York responded to Court Street to arrest a 28-year-old Houlton man, Gilbert Chaloux, for failure to pay fine or fee.
12:06 p.m. – Officer York responded to Ludlow Road to investigate a motor vehicle accident.
12:46 p.m. – Officer Boutilier responded to Columbia Street to arrest a 36-year-old Houlton man, Bruce King, for assault.
2:30 p.m. – Officer York responded to High Street to investigate a complaint.
2:45 p.m. – Officer York responded to Charles Street to serve a restraining order.
4:44 p.m. – Officer Bickford responded to High Street for a wellbeing check.
11:40 p.m. – Cpl. Duff responded to Tower Drive to investigate a report of suspicious activity.
Saturday, Nov. 14
12:49 a.m. – Sgt. Wampler responded to North Street to assist another agency.
12:50 a.m. – Cpl. Duff responded to Green Street to investigate a 9-1-1 hang up.
3:34 a.m. – Cpl. Duff responded to Hartford Street to assist another agency.
7:35 a.m. – Officer York responded to Front Ridge Road to investigate a report of theft.
7:50 – Officer Bickford responded to Hartford Street to assist another agency.
11:38 a.m. – Officer York responded to North Street to arrest a 33-year-old Houlton man, Hayle Boyce, on charges of theft by unauthorized taking or transfer; unlawful possession of scheduled drug; operating while license suspended or revoked; and sale and use of drug paraphernalia.
2:05 p.m. – Officer Boutilier responded to Park Street to provide an escort.
8:03 p.m. – Officer McGuire and Cpl. Duff responded to Military Street to investigate a report of gunshots heard.
9:36 p.m. – Officer McGuire and Cpl. Duff responded to Sugarloaf Court to investigate a complaint.
11:36 p.m. – Officer McGuire responded to Johnson Street to investigate a 9-1-1 hang up.

The Houlton Police Department is urging the cooperation of all citizens to take special note not to park in designated areas that are set aside for handicapped persons. Unless your vehicle bears a special handicap registration plate or placard issued under Maine Title 29, section 252, or a similar plate issued from another state.
Citizens in violation will be cited for a penalty not less than $50. Please help us to recognize those people that need a little more help than others, by not parking in their space.
