HOULTON, Maine — Tonight is the final night of the 60th Annual Rotary Radio and TV Auction being presented by the Houlton Rotary Club. The auction runs from 6-10:30 p.m. It is broadcast on WHOU 100.1 FM and on TV on Time Warner Channel 16 in Houlton and on Pioneer Cable Channel 36 in Sherman.  A live webcast of the auction can also be accessed through www.houltonrotary.org.

In addition to the half-hour items and Wednesday Night Special items that are featured for the evening, this is also the final opportunity to bid on the Three Night Specials that have been running since Monday.

The successful bidders at the close of the auction this evening will be awarded these items including the camp package from Ward Log Homes.  An additional five minutes will be provided at 10:30 p.m. for bidding exclusively on the special items.

A complete listing of items for bid can be picked up at area businesses or at the auction room at Watson Hall on Main Street.  The list is also posted on www.houltonrotary.org and searches can be done to find a specific item or donor.
Successful bidders are listed at the website and the search function is available for this listing, as well. Successful bidders can pick up their items at the auction storeroom, which is located at Watson Hall.  Storeroom hours for the remainder of the week are as follows:  Wednesday, Nov. 25, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-10 p.m.; Thursday, Nov. 26, from 9 a.m.-noon; Friday, Nov. 27,  9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-5 p.m.  Friday is the final day to pick up items from the storeroom.  The storeroom number is 521-5891.  Those picking up their items are reminded to bring a list of their item numbers and amount of bid for reconciliation with the storeroom list.  Payments can be made by cash or check and all items must be paid for in full at the time of pick-up.

Pledges will continue to be accepted for the Boy and the Boot Endowment Fund sponsored by the Houlton Regional Health Services Foundation. The winner of the certificate for $500 of product from Dead River Company will be drawn before the close of the auction tonight.  Tickets can be purchased from Rotarians or at the auction room until the time of the drawing.  Tickets are $1 each or six for $5.

A final $60 winner will be drawn in honor of the 60th annual auction.  All successful bidders for the evening will be entered in a drawing for the cash prize.  Rotarians will be removed from the drawing.
