LINNEUS — Joseph “JJ” Johnson 67, passed away Dec. 11, 2015 at a local hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1948 at Maple Shade, NJ, the son of the late Raymond and Anna Marie (Baker) Johnson.
JJ enlisted in the US Marine Corps in 1966 and served as a communications specialist in Vietnam before his discharge as a corporal in 1968. He was also a member of the VFW. JJ was a diesel mechanic and owned and operated his own shop for many years.
JJ is survived by his children, Pamela Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Jr. and his wife Christine, Robert Johnson and his wife Alyssa, Shawn Daughenbaugh and his wife Erin, and Tina Brown and her husband Rob; 10 grandchildren Anna, Amanda Jo, Ariana, Dominick, Jennie, Dakota, Mercedez, Brooklynn, Fawn and Aliyah; his siblings , Raymond Johnson and his wife Marilyn, Robert Johnson and his wife Karen, William Johnson and his wife Emogene, Francis Johnson and his wife Beverly and Anna Slingbaum; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend Hope Johnson.
