HODGDON —Herbert J. Parent, 83, died December 29, 2015 at his home. He was born November 5, 1932 in Caswell, the son of Thomas and Mabel (Levesque) Parent. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, serving during the Korean War, the owner of Parent’s Auto Body for over 41 years and was an avid snowmobiler and ATVer.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy (Hersee) Forbes and her daughter, Suzanne; two sons: Kevin & Gina Parent of Houlton and Herb Parent and Danielle Robare of Milford, NH; two grandchildren: Meghan Kervin and Melinda Dickinson; six great-grandchildren; two sisters: Patsy Blinn and Rosie Lindsey, both of NC; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
