The Purple Hat ladies met at the SAVE building in Houlton for their Jan. 12 get-together.
Bingo cards and stickers were passed out, and after some time everyone had all the names added to the cards. As their names were called the Purple Hat ladies introduced themselves and also told a fact about them that the rest of the members might not know. It was an interesting Bingo game to play. Cindy Gray was the Bingo winner.
Wannetta Townsend asked the blessing on the meal. January birthdays were recognized by Cindy Gray.
The drawing for the month was won by Cindy Gray and Wannetta Townsend.
Marie Gillotti and Cindy Gray shared several comical readings.
