LINNEUS — Beatrice Lucy Little 86, passed away February 7, 2016 at a local healthcare facility with her family by her side. She was born February 23, 1929 in Monticello, the daughter of Percy and Isabelle (Folsom) Carmichael.
Beatrice was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was a stay at home mother who loved to cook for her family and they all remember many delicious treats and meals. Beatrice loved to sew, knit and crochet gifting her many beautiful afghans, patchwork quilts, baby blankets and teddy bears to her children and grandchildren to remember her by. Bea’s greatest joy was her family, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren but her greatest love was for her Savior Jesus Christ. Bea’s family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Ted Sussman and the staff at Madigan Estates for the compassion and loving care over the past several years.
Beatrice is survived by three sons and their wives: Larry and Naomi Little, Steve and Vicki Little all of Linneus, David and Sandy Little of Florida; extended family son Robbie and Beth Seward of New Limerick, daughter Rose Seward of Mars Hill, son Stanley Swallow of Bangor, son Philip Lint of Mars Hill, daughter June Lam; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Merland Little, her sisters Maxine Thibodeau and Nettie Thibodeau, her brother Percy Carmichael, Jr.
Friends may call at the Dunn Funeral Home at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10, until the time of the service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Chester Ammons officiating.
