PRESQUE ISLE & PATTEN — Ida Rina (Ouellette) Corriveau, 89, died February 29, 2016 in Presque Isle, She was born February 18, 1927 in Caribou, the daughter of Theophile and Emily Mary (Thibodeau) Ouellette.
Ida is survived by her husband, John Corriveau and her younger brother, Kenneth Leo Ouellette. She was predeceased by her parents; older sister, Rita Cecile (Ouellette) Bossie; brother, Vernon Ouellette and younger sister Lucille (Ouellette) Clinton.

She chose the following prayer to share with you: For those I love, for those who love me, when I am gone, release me, let me go… I have so many things to see and do. You musn’t tie yourself to me with tears, be happy that we had so many years. I gave you my love. You can only guess, how much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, but now it’s time I traveled on alone. So grieve a while for me, if grieve you must; Then let your grief be comforted by trust. It’s only for a while we must part, so bless the memories that lie within your heart. And then when you come this way alone… I’ll greet you with a smile and “Welcome Home.” AMEN
