HOULTON — David Edward Green, 55, died peacefully March 9, 2016 at a local hospital after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his family, friends and past and present staff from CLA and the Green Center. He was born December 4, 1960 at Houlton, the son of David and Audrey (Allen) Green.
David was a resident with CLA for many years where he received excellent care from all and considered many to be his family. While at the hospital, David was surrounded by people from CLA that truly cared and loved him. He was truly blessed and would have been very pleased. David’s greatest love was his family. He enjoyed holiday meals with them, especially Christmas, which was his favorite. He enjoyed cooking shows, looking at cookbooks and teasing staff and friends. Saturday morning was his special time to visit his mother whom he loved dearly.
David is survived by his mother, Audrey Green of Houlton, his brother, Allen Green and his wife, Catherine, of Monticello; his sister, Lynn Fitzpatrick and her husband, William (Billy), of Hodgdon; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, David Green, sister, Rayma McGuire, brother, Wendell Green and his special friend, Reba.
