MONTICELLO – Goldie M. Flewelling, 96, died March 30, 2016 in Houlton. She was born February 10, 1920 in Amity, the daughter of Raymond and Mary (McLaughlin) Hall.
Goldie worked on the family farm with her husband and family and took great pride in her flower gardens and lawn. She enjoyed her family and was an excellent cook. We have many treasured memories and her loving family will miss her.
She is survived by her son, Jerry Wayne Flewelling and his wife, Jeannie of Monticello; eight grandchildren, Linda Delong and John Whitney, Sheila Heath and Luke Lee, Jay Flewelling, Larry Flewelling and Nikki Lynds, Clarissa Porter and Dean, Karl Flewelling and Andrea Philips, Crystal Nichols and Dana, and Caitlyn Acott and Nate; 13 great- grandchildren; a great-great grandson; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Russell; her children, Bonnie Rae, Larry Leslie and Gary Lloyd; brothers Percy, Raymond, Ralph and Hazen; and a sister, Madeline Daggett.
