TOPS

TOPS is back on track; hopefully, no more snowstorms or ice-covered walkways. The group met April 22 at the Aldergate building on Kelleran Street in Houlton.

There were 13 TOPS and two KOPS members present. The loser of the week was C.J. and the runner-up was Cheryl Driscoll. The skinny dish was won by Millie Gagnon.

Plans for the workshop on June 4 at the Court Street Baptist Church were discussed. This is a regional workshop with much information and encouragement for each other.

The program was given by Barbara Whited on how to eat healthy snacks. What to pack for lunches and putting individual portions in sealable containers are all great ideas for healthy eating, she said.

Charlotte Marley gave a comical reading, “Wonderful Stuff.” Stuff keeps gathering, and people give you their stuff, and pretty soon what do you do with all the stuff?
