Cats were the theme of the day as the Oakfield Senior Citizens gathered at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile Clubhouse for their second meeting of April.

Twenty-three members and one guest enjoyed the delicious potluck luncheon. The Lord’s Prayer and flag salute opened the business meeting. Reports were read and accepted.

Sharon Anderson was the winner of the 50/50. The many April birthdays were recognized by singing “Happy Birthday.”

Delores Locke read information from the Agency on Aging in Presque Isle regarding the RSVP Volunteer Appreciation Celebration banquet on May 19 in Presque Isle. For more information about this call the agency at 1 (800) 439-1789.

Music was provided by Betty Burpee and Tahsha Sweet. Thanks to the kitchen cleanup crew: great job.
