The Get Growing event will also feature community groups and activities, including gardening and organic planting and information.
“A lifetime of gardening can begin with a simple bean seed; it’s fun to watch a child plant a seed into soil for the first time and know they’ll soon have a sprout,” said , manager of the Houlton Tractor Supply store. “It’s a hobby that instills a lifelong appreciation for where our food comes from and brings families together through hard work and great-tasting food.”
Tractor Supply Co. carries all the supplies a family needs to grow a garden, including mulches, live plants, regular and organic seeds, and garden tools.
