May baskets and teddy bears were the decorative theme for the meeting of Oakfield Senior Citizens on May 4 at the Smoki-Haulers Snowmobile Club as 29 members and guests were treated to another delicious potluck luncheon.
Jeanne Clements was the 50/50 winner.
The business meeting was opened with the Lord’s Prayer followed by the Flag Salute. May birthdays were recognized and Ursula Levesque is celebrating her 97th later this month. Congratulation to Ursula.
At the next meeting we are to bring items for an auction on May 18.
The short business meeting was followed by music featuring Terry Levesque and Nolan Nason. Lots of familiar songs were sung with the audience joining in. Some danced and others clapped hands as they enjoyed the great songs.
